Starting as a real estate brokerage, Jovio created a suite of products to assist our in-house agent team in delivering an excellent customer experience to the clients we worked with. About the Role:

Jovio is seeking a well-rounded Software Developer who will help accelerate the development of new products. Working as a key part of one of several small tiger teams, you’ll work closely with individuals across the organization to help bring the product vision to reality. This is a full-time position based at our headquarters in Austin, TX.

Responsibilities

• Works with peers, leads, and business partners to analyze requirements, potential pitfalls, and challenges with scalability before developing a technical design
• Responsible for participating in all steps of the software development lifecycle

Qualifications

• BS/MS in CS, CIS, MIS, or related technical field
• 1 year of professional experience in software development with several production releases under your belt
• Demonstrated ability to come up to speed on new technologies and concepts quickly
• Experience with full development life cycle experience in Agile and/or Waterfall methodology
• Proficiency with front end and back end programming languages such as Ruby, Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and appropriate frameworks/libraries
• Experience with SQL Databases
• A positive attitude, creative spirit, and customer-focused drive
