What does it take to be a Real Estate Specialist at Jovio? Our Specialists are leaps and bounds away from “typical.” Let’s explore the difference between your average REALTOR® experience and your Jovio Real Estate Specialist experience.

Mission. It's important to have a purpose, right?

For some in real estate, it’s all about the "Get Rich or Die Trying" model. Suits. Fancy cars. Money. You know this guy (or gal). We know this guy too. That’s why all members of Team Jovio get training in the art of vision and purpose. At Jovio HQ, we live and breathe our mission to Unlock Ownership. It’s all in an effort to promote home ownership. Jovio Real Estate Specialist interactions are a reflection of our brand in every sense of the J. The sign that stands in front of our clients’ homes stands for something much more meaningful than self-promotion. We want you to Unlock Ownership.

Incentives. Hey, we all need a little motivation sometimes!

When you work with a Jovio Real Estate Specialist, you work with someone who is focused solely on YOU. Our Specialists are motivated by that mission thing we mentioned before. They’re incentivized based on a customer’s satisfaction and success. That other guy? He’s all about those Benjamins. Unless your name IS Benjamin, this doesn’t really work in your favor, huh? We put your success above all. And yes, in case you were wondering, Jovio does work with people named Benjamin ;)

Specialization. Aristotle once said, “The whole is greater than the sum of its parts.”

Jovio's structure involves work in specialized teams. Each individual handles specific parts of the transaction. Your Real Estate Specialist will be focused on tracking market data. Your Property Marketing Specialist focuses on telling the masses about your home. And all of our Jovio employees are focused solely on helping you succeed.

Employment Status. Who are you REALLY working with?

We’ll admit it, there’s a lot of real estate giants out there (we won’t name drop though…you know who they are). The agents that work for them, though? All they’re doing is leasing that brand. Let’s take it back to #1…yeah, we put it first because it really is that important. Jovio has a mission and all employees are on it. Your Jovio Real Estate Specialist IS a Jovio employee. Jovio requires above and beyond standards and controls actions from a company level. Those other real estate giants can’t force or control agents complying with minimum standards - it’s illegal to interfere with independent contractor status.

In fact, the giants are incentivized to hire anyone and everyone because THEY make money on quantity not quality. The standard of service for sellers is way low. So, let’s bring it back to YOU! At Jovio, from providing SLAs for customer interactions to helping you stage your home to crossing the finish line to SOLD, you’re getting The Jovio Way. Jovio requires that agents deliver an on-brand experience at all points to all customers.

Education. Real estate isn’t only as easy as ABC, 123, ya know!

Because we hold our Specialists to high standards, they have all received Bachelor’s degrees from top universities such as the University of Texas and Baylor. Isn't it interesting to know that your average REALTOR® doesn’t have a college degree? Fun fact: real estate is actually one of the few industries where someone can make six or seven figures without even having a college degree. In order to best serve you, our Jovio Specialists not only have that degree, but they studied the most relevant topics possible - Real Estate and Marketing. Smooth talking is a dying breed…today, we only listen to Google (and sometimes Alexa).

Leveraging Technology. Oooooooh the future!

You want things fast and simplified thanks to technology nowadays. It’s time to revolutionize the binders of paperwork that selling a home typically brings. While others might think that tech is too disruptive and a threat to real estate, Jovio is adopting the best tools (and creating others) to make the real estate process simpler for you. Jovio Real Estate Specialists will leverage proprietary software to deliver a more efficient and consistent customer experience. If technology we deploy will take a weight off of a customer’s shoulders, you bet that we’ll be working it into our process.
